Today’s day for Norway is known as Constitution Day of Norway or Seventeenth of May. The first Norwegian Constituent Assembly was held in Eidsvoll on May 17, 1814. From that day, every year on 17th May is known as the Norway Constitution Day. The Norwegians celebrate their day in several different ways such as with a big parade, long and motivated speeches, flying flags, and memorialization.

Despite, Norway’s Constitution Day, the country celebrates Children’s Day on the same. The Norwegian people have been celebrating the day since 1836. In honoring Norway’s special day, the Google Doodle’s logo has been on May 17, 2024, with the Norwegian flag. Recently, the flag has been visible on the Google search engine.
