As the number of complaints for PlayStation Network issues kept growing on Monday, September 30, 2024, the outage tracking website Down Detector also showed an upward curve of people reporting the outage complaints for Sony’s flagship gaming console called PlayStation. Acknowledging the network loading issues, PlayStation issued an official statement on its website that some servers had issues causing inconvenience to the users while signing in and creating new accounts on PlayStation. Talking about the report shared by Down Detector, PlayStation players majorly faced server issues as 88 percent of people complained about the connectivity, 8 percent of people reported issues with downloading, and 4 percent of people complained that they could not load the website. The frustrated users of PlayStation also took to their social media accounts where they shared screenshots of the issue faced on the PlayStation Network. A person took to X and stated that he just bought a PlayStation 5 and the servers went down, another wrote that AskPlayStation PSN was also down at that moment.
