The ensemble star cast of Shinda Shinda No Papa which features Gippy Grewal, Hina Khan, and Shinda Grewal, in the lead roles, initially pulled the audience to the theaters but later the positive reviews from the moviegoers which was the most important for a film’s long marathon on the box office and strong grip during the weekdays, came into play. Shinda Shinda No Papa features the real-life father-son duo, Gippy Grewal and Shinda Grewal, and the film’s plot revolves around the father played by Gippy Grewal, who wants to teach his mischievous son, played by Shinda Grewal. Thus, Gippy takes his son to India in a bid so that his mischievous son can learn the traditions and culture of India to respect elders. This journey of father-son brings lots of laughter and emotional scenes and also gives a message to society as well.
Due to something different storyline and not using the typical comedy genre by the makers, the audience enjoyed this film and gave top reviews to the film which eventually converted into bigger box office numbers. The comedy film Shinda Shinda No Papa opened in theaters on Friday, May 10, 2024, when it collected Rs 0.9 Crore. After hearing the positive reviews the film witnessed a huge growth in the Day 2 box office collection as it collected Rs 1.3 Crore, showing a growth of 44.44 percent.
On Day 3, Gippy Grewal and Hina Khan’s film recorded further growth of 53.85 percent as the film minted Rs 2 Crore on Sunday, the highest single-day box office collection for Shinda Shinda No Papa. Monday was a crucial test for the film to take its lifetime box office collection to a profitable total. Meanwhile, the film passed the test by strongly holding the grip and collected Rs 0.6 Crore. On Day 5 and Day 6, Shinda Shinda No Papa’s collection was almost the same Rs 0.65 Crore and Rs 0.6 Crore respectively. Concluding its first week on a strong note, the film collected Rs 0.6 Crore and Rs 0.5 Crore on the last two days, taking the box office collection to Rs 6.55 Crore after the first week.

In Week 2, Shinda Shinda No Papa also performed very well and indicated that the film would be another superhit in Gippy Grewal’s acting career. In its second week, Shinda Shinda No Papa collected Rs 3.85 Crore, crossing the mark of Rs 10 Crore in 14 days. On Day 15, the third Friday, the film minted Rs 0.37 Crore and Rs 0.75 Crore on Day 16, showing a momentous growth of 102.7 percent in the third week. As of now, the total box office collection of Shinda Shinda No Papa stands at Rs 11.52 Crore.
