Mr Shudai: Punjabi Horror-Comedy Set for June 21 Release
This upcoming comedy-horror Punjabi film features singer-turned-actor Harsimran and renowned actress Mandy Thakar who was last seen in “I Am Student” released in 2021, in which she was paired with Sidhu Moose Wala. Actress Mandy Thakar also shared a post when the film was announced in 2023. The first look poster of the film was released with the announcement of Mr Shudai. The poster features actors who have played pivotal roles in the film. It features Harsimran in the lead role as Mr Shudai, Mandy Thakar as Tehzeeb, Nav Lehal as Robbey, Malkeet Rauni as Father, and Sukhi Chahal, Karamjit Anmol, Nisha Bano, Aarav Bhullar are playing the roles of ghosts in the film. The poster released with the announcement of the film shows Harsimran being dragged from both sides by Karamjit and Sukhwinder on one side while Mandu Thakar is on the other side. The interesting poster of Mr Shudai creates some excitement among the fans as it indicates that the film will be a roller coaster ride full of comedy and some emotional scenes as well. Speaking about the story of the film, revolves around a Punjabi man named Mr Shudai who is based in Melbourne. Mr Shudai wants to take his own because of not having a family. He tries multiple times to commit suicide but every time get fails. In his last attempt to commit suicide, Mr Shudai sees four ghosts as they want him to fulfill their wishes before he dies. Mr Shudai is directed by Harjot Singh and the story of the film has been written by Kuran Dhillon. Mohanbir Singh Bal has bankrolled the film alongside Jaskaran Walia and Amritpal Khinda who are co-producers of the film. Previously, Mr Shudai was scheduled to be released on November 24, 2023, but the film was slated for a later date due to some reasons.
