After two successful seasons and a good response from the audience, this crime-suspense-thriller series Illegal was renewed for season 3, and it stars Akshay Oberoi and Neha Sharma in the lead roles. The makers of the show are not leaving any stone unturned in making the latest season more popular than the previous two, thus they have done the promotions on a big note. As of now, Illegal Season 3 has been released and premiering on JioCinema. During the promotions, Illegal actress Neha Sharma was asked about her political plans and the actress created a frenzy among her fans with her cryptic reply.
A media representative while interacting with the actress during the promotions of Illegal Season 3, spoke to her about gym videos and pictures that often go viral on social media, and most recently the actress was also seen supporting her father in an election rally. A video of Neha Sharma from her father Ajit Sharma’s political rally went viral on the internet, which eventually left innocent netizens to believe Neha Sharma also has joined politics and contesting for a Lok Sabha seat like Kangna Ranaut. However, Neha Sharma was only there for her father who is contesting for INC from a Bihar seat in the Los Sabha Elections 2024. Ajit Sharma is currently a member of the legislative assembly of Bihar from Bhagalpur.

However, she admitted that she visited her hometown Bhagalpur to stand in support of her father.
