Fans have been eagerly waiting for this film since it was announced following the success of Kartik Aryan’s previous film, Satya Prem Ki Katha, which was also produced by the same producer who has produced Chandu Champion, Sajid Nadiadwala. Reportedly, Sajid Nadiadwala did not take long to announce one more project with Kartik Aryan after their previous collaboration became a superhit at the box office. But this time, Kartik Aryan had bigger challenges for the success of Chandu Champion. The actor went through a massive transformation before commencing the shooting of Chandu Champion.
Nevertheless, the director of the film, Kabir Khan, also gave a round of applause for Kartik’s hard work and dedication to portraying the role of Chandu Champion. To hail Kartik Aryan, Kabir Khan who is referred to as one of the biggest directors of Bollywood, took to his official Instagram account to share the amazing poster of the film featuring Kartik Aryan in a never-seen-before avatar and praise the actor for his transformation and physique he attained for the film. Kabir Khan captioned the post, “The story of Chandu Champion is an incredibly inspiring true story but the journey that Kartik went through to become this champion is no less inspiring. I met him when he had put on weight for a role. He had 39 percent body fat.”
The poster of Chandu Champion shows Kartik Aryan standing in a boxing ring, shirtless and wearing gloves and shorts. The actor’s face is full of bruises and has a mouthguard as well. The recently released poster is nothing sort of goosebumps to his fans as he is flaunting his amazing physique and abs in the photo. The director of the film further added, “I told him that he had to portray an international-level multi-disciplinary sportsperson. He just smiled and said ‘I will do it, Sir’. A year and a half later with no use of steroids – something that he was adamant about – we took this photo on set. Body fat 7 per cent!! I’m proud of you @kartikaaryan.” Thus, everyone is eagerly waiting for this film and anticipating it.
Chandu Champion actor Kartik Aryan had to shoot 10 to 12 hours daily, making it more challenging for him to work out and maintain his physique. Kartik’s trainer Tridev Pandey revealed that the actor used to sleep less during the shooting of the film, showing a great dedication toward this character. Pandey also added that the transformation from 39% to 7% body fat is not a joke but Kartik’s discipline has achieved it.
