Aadujeevitham OTT Release Date and Platform Announced

Speaking of the storyline of Aadujeevitham is based on a 2008 Malayalam novel published by Benyamin after being inspired by true events. The Goat Life aka Aadujeevitham features Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role. In the film, Prithviraj portrays the role of Najeeb who is a Malayali laborer. The film’s story focuses on how laborers get trapped in foreign countries. In the film, Najeeb aka Prithviraj works as a goat herder and he gets entrapped on a distant Saudi Arabian farm.
It is said that Blessy had read the novel ‘Aadujeevitham’ in 2009 since then he wanted to make a film on it. Even, Blessy had talked to Prithviraj Sukumaran that year to play the lead role and he also convinced Benyamin to work on the film’s screenplay but due to some financial issues the film could not go on floors. In 2015, Blessy convinced a producer to go ahead with the project. After working delicately on this film, Blessy chose A R Rahman to compose the music for the film. Jimmy Jean Louis and Steven Adams produced Aadujeevitham.
The shooting of the film began in March 2018. Till July 2022, the film had been shot at different locations including Sahara in Algeria, Wadi Rum in Jordan, and some locations of Kerala. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the shooting of the film also went on hiatus for around 70 days. The shooting of the film was wrapped up on July 14, 2022. On March 28, 2024, Aadujeevitham was finally released in cinemas. The film was released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi as well. Nevertheless, this film marks an important project of Prithviraj’s career. The transformation he showed in the portrayal of the lead role, Prithviraj has gained everyone’s recognition.
