لاہور (قدرت روزنامہ) عالمی بینک نے پنجاب حکومت کو سیلاب متاثرین کیلئے 35 ملین ڈالر دینے کی پیشکش کر دی ہے . میڈیا رپورٹس کے مطابق وزیر اعلٰی پنجاب پرویز الٰہی سے عالمی بینک کے کنٹری ڈائریکٹر کی قیادت میں وفد نے ملاقات کی جس میں پنجاب حکومت اورعالمی بینک کے درمیان مختلف شعبوں میں تعاون بڑھانے پر اتفاق ہوا .

In this meeting, the reform program in social and infrastructure sectors in Punjab with the help of World Bank was discussed.
Chaudhry Pervez Elahi said that $35 million will be linked to the Punjab Ehsaas program and distributed among the flood victims. I have had a long-standing relationship with the World Bank. During my previous tenure, the World Bank supported revolutionary reforms in education and health.
He said that since my education sector reform program was accepted globally, he wanted to resume cooperation with the World Bank.

Our government announced free education up to degree level allowing recruitment of ad hoc doctors and other staff in the health department. Earlier, the Chief Minister of Punjab had said that all parties of PDM are only engaged in lip service, the opposition has no agenda of public welfare. Chaudhry Parvez Elahi said that he will continue the public service journey regardless of the opposition.
Punjab Chief Minister Pervez Elahi was met by Assembly Speaker Sabatain Khan, the meeting discussed issues of mutual interest and legislation related to public interest. Measures taken for rehabilitation and resettlement of flood victims were also discussed on the occasion. Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi said that the private business of usury has been banned and the punishment has also been fixed in the entire Punjab.
