Lahore: (Web Desk) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that party workers should remain calm, don’t lose patience, Khan will lead the rally tomorrow.
Talking to the media outside Zaman Park, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that he met Khan Sahib, the whole situation was presented to him, Khan Sahib has decided to postpone the rally till tomorrow, he has discriminated against us. We strongly condemn what is going on, the governors want chaos, while our demand is only for elections.
He said that according to the order of Imran Khan, we are not holding a rally today, the workers are dispersing peacefully, they will gather again in the night, we are peaceful and we don’t want to give an opportunity to the government to do violence.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that on March 8 our workers were tortured, water cannons were used, one of our workers was martyred, the whole world is watching these events, we’ n condemn these actions by the government.
The former foreign minister said that we were informed in the night that they are imposing 144. Section 144 was imposed only to stop PTI, no one is allowed to come to Zaman Park, so today’s rally was postponed. Yes, tomorrow there will be Khan will lead the rally itself, the rally will start from Zaman Park and end at Data Darbar.
He gave a message to the workers that we should not act with enthusiasm, we should not be caught in the trap of the government, we should not take the law into our hands, we want to be agitated but we are not doing it, we are a party. They are still peaceful despite the martyrdom, we will hold a peaceful rally tomorrow, all their plans will fail.
It should be noted that former Prime Minister and Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has announced that he will postpone the rally to be held in Lahore today until tomorrow.
