Shri Rajput Karni Sena founder and social worker Lokendra Singh Kalvi passed away late Monday night at SMS Hospital. According to doctors, Kalvi was undergoing treatment for a long time. He was admitted here in June 2022 after suffering a brain stroke. He was receiving treatment since then.
Meanwhile, he suffered a cardiac arrest last night and could not be saved. According to the information received from the family, the last rites of Lokendra Singh Kalvi will be performed on Tuesday at his native village Kalvi in Nagaur district. Lokendra Singh Kalvi’s father, Kalyan Singh Kalvi, was a prominent Janata Dal politician in Rajasthan. Kalyan Singh Kalvi was also elected to the 9th Lok Sabha in the 1989 general election from Barmer constituency. Kalyan Singh was among the people who were close to former Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar.
