The government of Maharashtra has set a target of a trillion dollar economy by 2030. To achieve this target, the economic growth of the state has to increase at a rate of 11%. In such a situation Finance Minister Fadnavis can make important announcements in the budget keeping the economy in mind.

Fadnavis can make announcements about filling 75,0000 government jobs and creating new employment opportunities. Apart from this, new schemes may also be announced to promote investment in the state. Finance Minister Fadnavis can also take steps to reduce the budget deficit. Because last year Finance Minister Ajit Pawar presented a Rs 24,000 crore budget deficit on behalf of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government.
