Anandwadi village is known as a pioneer village in social transformation in Latur district. In this village all the affairs are done by women. Sarpanch members of Gram Panchayat are women only. The village has implemented a dowry ban and all the houses in the village have been put in the name of women. This village has a population of 650 and 112 families live in Gunya Govinda. Without expecting any help from the government, various activities for village development are carried out only from the concept of sarpanch and other prominent people.
