The Hindu Jagran Manch handed over a memorandum to the municipality president regarding the 15-day fair to be held at the Maa Rajarajeshwari temple. In which it was insisted that there should be no disorder in the fair. The allotment of shops should be done through a lottery system, so that the practice of middlemen can be ended.

In the memorandum submitted, Anoop Kirkire of Manch said that every year during Navratri a fair is organized with great enthusiasm in the buildings of Maa Rajarajeshwari. There are many families who are sad because of the loss of their livelihood. The reason is that they cannot get a place to do their business in Maa Rajarajeshwari fair because 50 to 60 percent of the places are occupied by people from non-Hindu community and doing business for years. For this, the Hindu society is dissatisfied with the arrangements made by the municipality in the past. The local swing traders are unable to get a place to do their business, but the middlemen of outside traders meet the workers and the setup is done in advance. Because of this the local workers are not getting work.
