Mumbai : Leading News Service : The Bombay High Court on Tuesday rejected the plea of Gauri Bhide, who alleged that Uddhav Thackeray has unaccounted assets and demanded that the ‘ED’ and the CBI investigate him. At the same time, Gauri Bhide has been fined Rs 25,000 by the court. The allegations made in the petition appear to be baseless. In rejecting the petition, the court said that this petition was an abuse of the judicial process.

Bhide complained on July 11, 2022 that Uddhav Thackeray and his family had amassed undisclosed wealth through corruption. Bhide had written a letter to the Mumbai Police Commissioner in this regard. However, no action was taken. Hence this petition was filed. We have evidence against the Thackeray family. However, the petition asked why no action was taken against them. After the court reserved its decision, the state government had informed that the Financial Crimes Department of the Mumbai Police had started a preliminary investigation into the complaint in this case. This was also strongly opposed by the Thackeray family. It was alleged that the state government was abusing the legal process by informing the court in this way after the court reserved its decision.
