Pimpri; Leading News Service: Commissioner and Administrator Shekhar Singh presented the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation budget for the year 2023-24 with no tax increase and no new schemes and projects in the administrative order on Tuesday (14). The original budget is 5 thousand 298 crores 30 lakhs and 7 thousand 127 crores 88 lakhs with central and state government grants.

New deadline to provide 100 MLD water by the end of March
The municipality lifts 100 MLD of water daily from the Andhra Dam to the Nighoje Barrage on the Indrayani River. All the system preparations for the same have been completed by October 2022. However, since neta is not available for the inauguration, that water is not being supplied to the city. In this regard, Commissioner Shekhar Singh said that the testing of Chikhli water treatment plant, purification system, connection of water channels in the city, valves, water supply management etc. has been completed. He has now given a new deadline that this water will be supplied to the areas in Chikhli district till the end of March.
