It is only recently that they have been able to offer all of their services under one roof at the 129 Young St. location.

“We have been able to collectively recreate a site here in Allison where we work together to provide care to families from the same space,” said Rhea Taplin, Head of Ambulatory Child and Adolescent Care at Royal Victoria Hospital.

“The space allows us to offer families that they come from more than one service and can integrate their services and coordinate their care.”

The four groups offer programs and services for local families, including occupational therapy, physical therapy, family resources, adult protection services, infant listening, and preschool language and language, all under one roof.

“These services can come together in the same room to create a common plan for the family. So they’re not running around from appointment to appointment in their community,” Taplin said.
