The city of Montreal has issued a boiling water warning for three areas on the island: Dorval, the city of Dorval Island and a small portion of the borough of Saint-Laurent.
The advisory, issued Thursday afternoon, affects the area southwest of Highway 13 near Montreal Airport.
Residents must boil their water for at least a minute before drinking it or brushing their teeth with it.
Unboiled tap water can still be used for hygiene or household purposes, according to the city.
You can find more information about the counseling service on the city’s website.
