Pune: The Central Investigation Agency raided four places related to two suspects in the Islamic State of Khorasan (ISKP) case. In this regard, a search operation was conducted at Talha Khan’s house in Pune and Akram Khan’s house in Sewoni in Madhya Pradesh.
A case in this case was registered by the Special Cell of the Delhi Police after the arrest of a Kashmiri couple Jehanzaib Sami Wani and his wife Hina Bashir Baig from Jamia, Okhla, Delhi. The investigation revealed that the couple was affiliated with ISKP. Abdullah Bashith, an accused in Tihar Jail in another case under investigation by NIA, also came forward.
On the same day the NIA raided the residences and offices of suspects Abdul Aziz Salafi and Shoaib Khan at three locations in Sewoni in the Shivamogga IS conspiracy case.
In the Shivammoga case, as part of a conspiracy hatched from abroad, Mohammad Sharik, Maz Munir Khan, Yasin and other accused targeted public and private properties like godowns, liquor shops, hardware shops, vehicles and property of some members of the community on the instructions from their handlers located abroad. There were more than 25 cases of arson and vandalism. In this he also detonated a fake IED. This was funded through crypto-currency by online handlers.
