Hyderabad, September 21 (Andhra Jyoti): “The 24th National Congress to be held in Vijayawada from October 14-18 has gained significance in the backdrop of changes in the country’s politics. CPI National Secretary K. Narayan said that the Congress will help in building unity among the anti-BJP parties at the national level. Attended and addressed the Telangana state branch meeting as the chief guest. BJP, which until recently indulged in divisive politics in the name of caste and religion, is now troubling opposition parties like the opposition and factionalists by blocking the CBI, ED and IT. But it has been said that this is against the principles of RSS.He said that the self-entry of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chief Ministers KCR and Jaganmohan Reddy has given BJP and RSS a chance to become stronger in Telugu states.

He said that BJP and RSS have got a place as both the Chief Ministers suppressed Left parties and democratic forces without agitating on public issues. He said that the threat has been identified and there is a need to fight the BJP. Party state secretary Kunanneni Sambashivarav said that CPI has a good future in Telangana. He said that the CPI will win next year’s assembly elections and his party’s entry into the assembly is inevitable. He said special attention would be given to 25 to 30 assembly constituencies where the party is strong. He said that he has been supporting the TRS to stop the communal BJP in the state in the past and will not back down in fighting the government on public issues. Chada Venkat Reddy, Syed Aziz Pasha, K. Srinivas Reddy and others participated in the meeting which was presided over by CPI state executive member Palla Narasimha Reddy.
