Mumbai, March 13 : Women’s Premier League match was played today between Mumbai Indians vs UP Warriors. In this match, the Mumbai Indians team celebrated their fourth consecutive victory by defeating the UP team.

UP captain Alyssa Healy initially won the toss and elected to bat first. UP team batsmen who came out to bat were thwarted by Mumbai’s Saika Ishaq and Kerr’s incisive bowling. Captain Alyssa and Tehliyan played well in this and the team scored 159 runs for victory against Mumbai losing 5 wickets in 20 overs. After that, the Mumbai team, chasing 160 runs, did not start very well.

After losing two wickets in the beginning, the aggressive batting of Yastika Bhatia, skipper Harmanpreet Kaur and Silver-Brunt helped Mumbai complete the challenge in form. Yastika scored 42 off 27 balls while Siver scored 45 off 31 balls to give Mumbai their fourth straight win in the Women’s Premier League.
