Nazim, who is accused of cow slaughter, was injured in an encounter late on Sunday night in Moondhapande police station area. During this, a soldier was also injured. Both have been admitted to an area hospital.

SP Akhilesh Bhadoria said that a case has been registered against Nazim, a resident of Sirskheda in Mundapande, in the case of cow slaughter at Katghar police station. In this case, the accused was absconding. A reward of twenty five thousand rupees was declared on the accused.

The police team was searching for the accused. On Sunday night, the accused was present near Bhadasana airport in Moondhapande area. On receiving information about this, Ravindra Pratap Singh, station in-charge of Mundapande, along with his team started searching for the accused. When the police surrounded the accused, he fired at the police team and started running away on his bike.

Meanwhile, the police retaliated. In which a bullet hit the leg of the accused and he fell injured. Constable Sanjit of Moondhapande police station was injured while trying to lay siege on the accused. After this the police team took them both to the district hospital and admitted them. SP City asked after reaching the hospital. SP City said that six cases have been registered against the accused in different police stations.
