Pune / Representative :
Rupali Chakankar, Chairperson of the State Commission for Women, said that the Maharashtra State Commission for Women has taken serious note of the issue of defamatory videos related to Shiv Sena leader Sheetal Mhatre being circulated on social media.
In this regard, Chakankar said, the trolling of women representatives of the state through the media is continuously increasing. If such things happen with the representatives of the people, then the question arises whether all women are safe in the state. Equally important is providing cyber security for women. Serious and prompt action by the Cyber Crime Department in such cases will be prevented in time. He also said that the Home Department should immediately take appropriate action in the Sheetal Mhatre video case and bring the exact truth behind it.
