Siddhipet Agriculture, September 23: Collector Prashant Jeevan Patil directed the officials of the concerned department to speed up the land acquisition for the construction of the National Highway. He held a review meeting with Additional Collector Srinivas Reddy, Siddhipet RDO Ananta Reddy and National Highway Authority officials at the Collectorate Integrated Office on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that the Elkaturthi-Medak and Janagama-Sirisila national highways are being constructed across the district. The Collector informed that the Elkaturthi-Medak highway will be constructed for about 80 kilometers in Siddipet district. It is also mentioned that around 105 km will be constructed from Janagama district to Sirisila via Cheryala and Siddipet. He ordered that the construction of the highway should proceed without any problem with the coordination of R&B, Forest RWS, Electricity, Revenue and Railway departments. The Collector directed that the work should be carried out in coordination with the officials of the concerned department without any hindrance.
