A youth from Padwalwadi (T.Karveer) of Kuditra died after his feet slipped in the river after he went to wash his feet in the Kumbi river. After the incident happened on Sunday afternoon, his body was found on Monday afternoon. The name of the dead youth is Vijay Damodar Padwal (32 years old).

The information received from the site of the incident and the Karveer Police is that the deceased Vijay had gone to wash his feet in the river Kumbhi near the dam on the Kuditre-Sangrul road near Padwalwadi around 2.30 pm on Sunday. At this time, he slipped and fell into the river and went missing. His motorbike and clothes were found on the bank of the river. There was a possibility that he had fallen in the river. Therefore, efforts were made to search for him in the river until late Sunday night, but due to darkness, these efforts were stopped at night. His body was found in the Kumbi river around 12.30 o’ r o’clock on Monday, he was cremated in the evening after a post mortem. His wife and daughter have survived. The complaint was filed by Sharad Padwal, and it has been registered in Karveer police and constable Kiran Mane is conducting further investigation.
