Kidnapping minor cousins, FIR on 4 including Moin-ImtiazNews WAALI

There is news of the kidnapping of 2 little girls from a Hindu family in Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh. The two victims are cousins. The allegation of kidnapping has been leveled against 4 people from another community. The accused includes 3 youths and a girl. The police have registered a case and started an investigation. So far the women have not been recovered and no accused has been arrested. In view of the tension in the village, the police have been used as a precautionary measure. The event is on Sunday (11 March 2023).

The incident is from Jiginia village under Ranipur police station area in Bahraich. The victim who lives here belongs to the OBC community. He earns his living by working as a carpenter. In the complaint given to the police, the victim said that his 16-year-old daughter and his nephew’s 16-year-old daughter went to the village canal to defecate on March 11. During this, 25-year-old Imtiyaz and his son 20-year-old Musibat Ali, Chhotkau, who lives in the same village, was cheated there. The two accused abducted the two little girls from a 4 wheeler.

According to the complaint, the victim had gone to a wedding procession that day. When he returned to his house in the morning, another 7-year-old girl from his house told him the whole thing. As soon as the matter was known, the victim tried to find her daughter and nephew on her behalf. Meanwhile, it came to know that 40-year-old Moin and 19-year-old daughter of Musibat Ali also cooperated in the kidnapping. Finally the victim, who went missing after searching for the little girls alone, lodged a complaint with the police.

Ranipur police station registered the case under section 364 of the IPC. Moin’s sister, Imtiaz, Chhotkau and Chhotkau were named in the case. FIR copy is available with OpIndia. Speaking to us, the victim’s father said that the Muslim population in his village is around 70%. He said the police assured them to find the girls soon and arrest the accused.
