CM Jagan has clarified about changing the name of NTR Health University. TDP leaders across AP are agitating to change the name of NTR Health University. Nationally recognized Dr. against changing the name of NTR Health University to ‘YSR Health University’. In this order, Jagan tried to clarify this in the assembly.

He said that he has immense respect for NTR. Saying that whoever doesn’t like NTR’s name is Chandrababu… whoever doesn’t like Chandrababu’s name is NTR. He said that if Chandrababu had not stabbed NTR in the back for a long time, he would have continued as Chief Minister for another full term. He remarked that Chandrababu would not have become the Chief Minister. If NTR gave his daughter as a gift..Chandrababu was angry that he gave back pain as a return gift. He said that Chandrababu will claim to turn the wheel in Delhi. He asked why Chandrababu did not try to give Bharat Ratna to NTR.

Jagan said he asked himself before changing the name of the university. He said that the decision to change the name of the health university was taken only after careful consideration. He said that YS Rajasekhar Reddy entered politics after earning a good name as a doctor. YS Rajasekhar Reddy, the creator of the schemes will be remembered by all. He said that before the birth of TDP in 1983, there were 8 medical colleges. YSR brought three more colleges. Now 17 more medical colleges have been brought up. He said that TDP has not built a single medical college.

He said that even though YSR was the Leader of Opposition during NTR’s time, his party never made a single comment on NTR. The chief minister said that during his padayatra, he promised to name Krishna district after NTR without asking anyone, and he implemented it after coming to power. Jagan said that he had kept his promise by announcing NTR’s name while forming new districts.
