While 38913 students from 110 plus two schools will appear for the intermediate exam in 57 centres. Also, this year the matriculation and intermediate exams have been divided into two parts. Under this, objective questions ie multiple choice and subjective questions will be asked from the students in the pattern of term-1 and term-2 respectively.
Time has also been set aside for this. Matriculation students will be given time from 09:45 to 11:20 and Inter students will be given time from 02 to 03:35 to solve MCQ questions on OMR sheet. While, to solve the subjective questions, time is given to matriculation students from 11:25 to 01:05 and to intermediate students from 03:40 to 05:20. Students of both categories will be given an additional 15 minutes to read the questions.
This year there was a change in the Jack Board exam pattern. Questions are asked from the entire syllabus of the subject in the form of Term-1 and Term-2. In the Term-1 section, MCQ based questions will be asked from the entire syllabus. Similarly, in the Term-2 section, subjective questions can be asked from any subject in the entire syllabus. In Ace, the number of objective and subjective questions will be 40-40 in the paper of 100 marks. In the subjects with a practicality of 30 marks, 35-35 objective and subjective questions will be asked. Whereas, last year the questions of Term-1 and Term-2 sections were asked by dividing the syllabus into half.
Subject experts said that three types of questions will be asked in the subjective section – very short answer questions, short answer questions and long answer questions. If students pay attention to the word limit when writing their answers, then they can save time. To ensure that there is no misconduct in the examination, the students will sit the examination under the supervision of TCC. Regarding this, CCTVs have been installed in the examination centres. Apart from this, two examiners will monitor the students in each room in the centre.
