Lahore: The Islamabad Police will go to Zaman Park in the next 24 hours to execute the arrest warrant of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
According to the details, two Islamabad courts have issued two non-bailable arrest warrants to Imran Khan for threatening the lady judge and not appearing in Tosha Khan’s case.
According to the sources, when the Islamabad Police team reached Lahore, Imran Khan was taking a rally from Zaman Park to Data Darbar, but before reaching Data Darbar, he returned after giving a short speech in the bulletproof vehicle.
During Imran Khan’s rally, Islamabad Police was holding a meeting with Lahore Police to decide the strategy which ended after several hours.
Sources say that it was decided in the meeting that the Islamabad police team will be given full support and the Islamabad police team will be given access to Imran Khan’s home.
According to the sources, the Islamabad Police will go to Zaman Park in the next 24 hours to execute the arrest warrant of Imran Khan and before that they will also contact the Chief Security Officer of Imran Khan.
