People are protesting against the Uttar Pradesh government against the relocation of the Hanuman temple.
This Hanuman temple is located near the Delhi-Lucknow National Highway. The government is forced to relocate the temple due to the expansion of this national highway. It is seen as important that people have started a struggle against this.
In this incident, 32 people have been taken into custody by Dilgar police station officer Virendra Singh. It included the priests of the Hanuman temple and some villagers. Police have been deployed around the temple due to the tense situation.

The Hanuman temple is to be shifted 80 meters away from its present location. The work started from September 17. But some Hindu organizations are fighting against this decision of the government.
On behalf of those involved in the protest, they said: “The temple has been in Kachiani Ketha of Dilgar area for the last 100 years. Due to the widening of the road, the temple is in the middle of the road. A crane was brought in to relocate the temple two years ago. The temple could not be relocated due to a technical fault with the crane. After that, people’s faith in the temple increased.” They said.
