District President Mahavir Meena and District Minister Brijgovind Taylor said that the main demand among the 11-point demands, is that the report of the Samant and Khemraj Committee constituted to resolve teachers’ salary discrepancies should be published and implemented immediately. State employees should be given promotion post pay scale by giving ACP advantage at 8-16-24-32 years. The old pension scheme should be implemented smoothly and GPF-2004 account numbers should be issued immediately along with giving the deposit amount of the GCC fund to the teachers. The trial period should be for 1 year only once in the entire service period and the trial period should also be added at the time of determination in the normal pay scale. Teachers and heads of institutes should be given monthly internet allowance and Android phones. The ban on the transfer of teacher cadre should be removed immediately. Included are demands that teachers should be released from all forms of non-academic work including BLO immediately.

The officials of the office say that if the demands are not fulfilled soon by the government, then there will be a fierce movement on the part of the organization.
