Education Secretary, Collector

Nirmal Cultural, 22 September : State Education Secretary Vakati Karuna has urged that teachers and school management committees should be partners in achieving the basic competencies specified in the first phase program being ambitiously implemented by the state government. On Thursday, she held a review meeting with the heads of Man Uru – Manabadi and the first step program being implemented in Nirmal. Speaking on the occasion, he said that after the result of NAS, a first phase program has been prepared to improve the basic skills of the students. Officers were directed to monitor each school and issue appropriate instructions to teachers. Based on the baseline results conducted in the school, students’ levels in Telugu, English and Mathematics were assessed and recorded in the Tanzanian application. He said that higher officials will monitor through this app. Teachers should use appropriate tools and methods to enhance their teaching skills. He ordered to evaluate the students every month to note their level and prepare a suitable teaching plan for the same. Engineers, principals and SMC presidents were asked about the current status and progress of works in 260 schools sanctioned in the first phase under Man Uru – Man Badi in the district. The progress of electricity, drinking water, toilets, guards, flooring in classrooms etc. in the school was monitored online and photos were taken to know the progress. He said that under the supervision of the District Collector, appropriate changes should be made in the necessary infrastructure and the works should be completed in a quality manner. He said, if the work is done and the photos are uploaded online, the money will be sanctioned. Solar panels will be provided to every school. He said that there is no dearth of funds. He said that money can be obtained by showing progress on the basis of completion of works. Collector Mu Sharaf Farooqui said that the district ranked second in the class 10 results as a result of the efforts of the vice principals of the district. He said that with everyone’s cooperation we will make the first phase programs of our village and our school successful. Earlier he visited Son Primary School and Anganwadi Centers and observed the functioning of Vakti Karuna. In this meeting, Joint Secretary of Education Department M. Haritha, Assistant Scheme Director Ramesh, Joint Director Venkata Narasamma, Additional Collector Hemanth Borkade and DEO Ravinder Reddy participated.

Inspection at Anganwadi Centre

Dilawarpur: Education Secretary Wa Kati Karuna visited the Anganwadi center at Sangvi village of the mandal on Thursday. The Education Secretary visited the primary school along with the Anganwadi Center to monitor the progress of the students. I asked about the quality of lunch. The infrastructure of the school was inspected.
