According to the notification, promotions and appointments have been made under Article 243 four A, B, Article 48 and Section 8 A, 8 D of the Pakistan Army Act 1952. Notices of approval for the retirement of General Qamar Javed Bajwa as Army Chief and General Nadeem Raza as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee have also been issued. According to which, the retirement of General Qamar Javed Bajwa as Army Chief will be effective from November 29. The retirement of General Nadeem Raza will be effective from 27 November.
