Mumbai, September 23 : Mahavikas Aghadi had to step down after 40 MLAs including Eknath Shinde rebelled. After this, since Shinde and Fadnavis formed the government together, there has been a war of words between the Mahavikas Aghadi leaders and the BJP. Meanwhile, a few days ago, the newly appointed state president of BJP, Chandrashekhar Bawankule, has started strongly criticizing the Mahavikas Aghadi. He was talking to reporters today. At this time, he said that now the Shinde and Fadnavis government is working at the speed of a bullet train, which is making it difficult for the opposition.

BJP state president Chandrashekhar Bawankule claimed in a press conference that Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena and BJP alliance will get 45 MPs and more than 200 MLAs in the Legislative Assembly in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Also, during two and a half years of Mahavikas Aghadi, the state government did not exist. Now the Shinde and Fadnavis government is working at the speed of a bullet train, he said.

He joked that Uddhav Thackeray’s challenge to Amit Shah to hold assembly elections in the state was like showing a lamp to the sun. When asked if the party supports MLA Prashant Bamba’s stance of teachers staying at headquarters, not only teachers but all government employees should stay at headquarters. But Bawankule said that Bawankule’s demand to cancel teacher and graduate constituencies is personal.
