The BSP has submitted a memorandum to the collector in relation to sexual harassment of minors on a JDES school trip at Junwani village in Samanpur police station area. In the memorandum to the President, a call has been made to arrest the absconding accused. They have also demanded that the district administration investigate the missionary institutions and close them.
Christian missionary organizations make a change of religion
The district president of the BSP, Asghar Siddiqui, mentioned in the memorandum that two accused in the sexual assault case are still absconding. The police should arrest the accused soon. The district administration should carry out a high level investigation into the mission organizations operating across the district. Grants received from the government and scholarship should be investigated. The officer who gives recognition to private organizations should be suspended from his job. Missionaries get converts in the area. This should be stopped immediately.
The district administration did not audit the amount given to private institutions for educational work. After the sexual exploitation of minor tribal girl students in Junwani Missionary School came to light, the district administration is taking action against the minor workers after exposing many illegal activities carried out in the school. Action should be taken against the responsible officers.
