Kavita has been invited to participate in a sit-in in Delhi on March 10, demanding 33 percent reservation for women in legislatures. According to reliable sources, he told the officials of the Electoral Department that he will participate in the investigation after participating in the program in question. But the officials of the European Department have not yet responded to his request.
A statement on the notices sent to them by the ED said, “We insist on introducing the Women’s Appropriation Bill in Parliament, which has been pending for decades, where this bill would have provided adequate representation for women in politics .” Demanding the same, Bharat Jagrothy has planned a one-day hunger strike at Jantar Mantar on March 10 along with like-minded opposition parties and women’s associations.
He added that the Electoral Department in this situation has issued notices for me to attend the investigation to be held in Delhi on March 9. As a law abiding citizen I will fully cooperate with the investigating agencies. But due to dharna and previous appointments I will take legal opinion on the date of attending the enquiry. BJP must understand that it is not possible for the party in power at the center to bring the Prime Minister’s CR and BRS party into its ranks through this kind of means. We are fighting against the anti-people policies of the BJP government.
