Koppal. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that the Ram temple is being built in Ayodhya. It is our good fortune that the BJP has been given the privilege of developing Anjanadri, the area of Ram devotee Hanuman.
He was speaking on Tuesday after performing Bhumi Pujan of development work for providing basic infrastructure in Anjanadri. He worshiped at the foot of Anjanadri hill.
He said that priority would be given to provide basic infrastructure to Anjanadri. Basic facilities including exhibition trail, commercial premises, toilets will be available at Anjanadri. Anjanadri Vikas Bhoomi has been worshiped with great enthusiasm.
Work costing 21.51 crores
Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that Hanuman should do good for mankind, our concept is to make Anjanadri a historical place. A total of Rs 120 crore has been earmarked for the development of Anjanadri. In the first phase, infrastructure will be provided at a cost of Rs 21.51 crore. The land acquisition process will be completed in a few days. It will be developed in different phases.
Responding to the ongoing protest over the Mysuru Bangalore Dashpath (ten lane) highway toll, Chief Minister Bommai said that we have asked the National Highway authorities to submit a detailed report on it. We have already instructed the customs officials to resolve the matter. This problem is normal every time the toll starts. Such conflicts will be resolved.
It may be noted that toll collection has started on Bengaluru-Mysore Dashpath Highway from Tuesday, pro-Canadian organizations have opposed it. Local people and some organizations opposed the collection of the tolls. Despite protests, the National Highways Authority has come forward to collect the toll.
Pro-Kannada organizations protest against the toll near Kanminke in South Bengaluru taluk. Members of a pro-Canada movement have expressed their anger by breaking the fence of the toll plaza. Currently, the police have arrested the member who broke the naka toll. As a precautionary measure, heavy police force has been deployed near the Kanminke toll. Three squads of KSRP, local police have been deployed. More than 200 policemen have been sent for security.
