Bhuj smriti van earthquake museum opens for visitors entry fee decided kdg dr – News18 Gujarati

Dhairya Gajara, Kutch: The Smritivan, which commemorates the 2001 Gozara earthquake in Kutch to the world, will be opened for tourists from September 23 tomorrow. After Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched his dream project Smritivan on August 28, the Smriti One Earthquake Museum will be opened for tourists almost a month after the unfinished work is completed. Its visiting time and visiting fee has been announced by Kutch District Administration.

The Smritivan Earthquake Memorial Project was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 28 at Bhuj Kutch. Smritivan Memorial Project To be opened for public from 23/09/2022. Visitors can visit Smritivan every day except Monday. Entry will be free for walkers/joggers from 5 am to 9 am while various entry rates have been fixed for other visitors.

How much fee to pay to see Smritivan?


As per the rate fixed by Gujarat State Disaster Management Authority, Ganghinagar (GSDMA) for people visiting Smriti One, the entrance fee is Rs. 20, tickets for museum visitors Rs. 300, ticket for children below 12 years Rs. 100 then free admission for children below 5 years. Also, the ticket for college students is Rs. 150 for which it will be mandatory to show the college ID. Apart from this, one has to pay parking charges to park one’s own vehicle.

What will be the visit time of Smriti One?


It will be open for visitors during summer season from 16th March to 15th September from 10 am to 2 pm and 4 pm to 8 pm. The museum will be open from 10 am to 6 pm during the winter season from September 16 to March 15, the district administration said.

A separate admission fee has to be paid for the Regional Science Centre
Apart from the Smritivan Museum, the Regional Science Center built on the Bhujia hill behind it will also become a center of attraction for people. To see the galleries built in the Science Center Rs. A charge of 20 has been fixed. Also, to sit in three different simulator rides made by him Rs. 150 and double charge to be paid on holidays.
