QUETTA: On Tuesday, the Balochistan administration decided to close all marriage halls and restaurants in Quetta at 10 pm.
Under the leadership of the Divisional Commissioner Quetta Sohail ur Rahman Baloch, a meeting was held to discuss the implementation of the National Energy Policy. Also present were officials from the Chamber of Commerce, Central Anjuman Tajran Balochistan, and Energy Secretary Bashir Bazai.
Important decisions were taken in the meeting about the federal energy policy and the energy crisis, including closing all the city’s restaurants and marriage halls at 10 pm and implementing load shedding in the city’s main commercial areas.
At the meeting, it was also decided that establishments in the far suburbs of the city would close at 8.30 pm. In the initial phase, the district government will issue notices regarding the early closure of wedding venues and eating establishments.
