An application was filed in the Lahore High Court to form a judicial commission on the death of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Ali Bilal alias Zal Shah.
The petition was filed by advocate Nadeem Sarwar in the Lahore High Court.
The Government of Punjab, IG Punjab and the Deputy Commissioner among others have been made parties in the petition by Advocate Nadeem Sarwar.
In the petition, the Lahore High Court was asked to order the formation of a commission to investigate the death of Zal Shah.
It should be noted that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Chaudhry Pervez Elahi has demanded a judicial inquiry into the death of Ali Bilal alias Zal Shah.
Parvez Elahi had said that if people like Rana Sana had been punished in the Model Town tragedy, the Zaman Park tragedy would not have happened today.
He had said that there should be a judicial inquiry into the Zal Shah incident, and Mohsin Naqvi and IG Punjab are the most accused in the judicial inquiry.
