Every year on Rangpanchami, after completing vows, this year too, the Chul tradition was performed at the Hanuman temple site in Fatehgarh village near Piplon Kalan. Hundreds of devotees, including children, old people and women, came out on burning coals after their vows were fulfilled.
The villagers went out into the flaming waters of the 9 feet long and 2 feet deep pond and saw Hanuman ji on fulfilling their vow. Here in the Hanuman temple, people go through the burning embers in the hearth being arranged for years. Hundreds of devotees from all over the world participated in this event which lasted from 1 pm to 5 pm on Rangpanchami. On this occasion, a one-day fair was also organized here, where a large number of devotees arrived from nearby villages. People believe that they get freedom from disease here.
