According to Dwarkapuri TI Alka Menia, a deaf and mute woman living in the area was married to Ashta a year ago. The woman’s husband is also deaf. Her husband has a dairy business. The in-laws had started torturing the woman for dowry only after marriage. He was pressured to bring one lakh rupees from his mother’s home. During this, the victim was also attacked. Soon after the marriage, the brother-in-law made his own sister-in-law a victim of lust and raped her twice on different occasions.
