Illegal residence for 8 years, fake passport also confiscated

Pune: A Pakistani youth who was living illegally in Pune was caught by the special branch. A fake Indian passport has been seized from the youth. The arrested youth has been identified as Muhammad Aman Ansari (aged 22). The police are investigating the exact reason why this young man was living in Pune.

In this case, a case has been registered against Ansari at Khadak police station under section 14 of the Aliens Act, 1946 and section 14 of the Passports Act. Kedar Jadhav, a police officer in the Foreign National Verification Department of the Special Branch, has filed a complaint at the Khadak Police Station.

The Special Branch had received information that Ansari was a Pakistani citizen and was living illegally in the city. The police then began a further investigation. After investigation, he was detained from Chudaman Talim Chowk area of ​​Bhawani Peth. When he was questioned, an Indian passport was found in his possession.

The investigation revealed that Ansari had obtained an Indian passport through forged documents and was living illegally. Now the police have become alert about this and are starting the investigation in the area. They are trying to find out from the youngster what was the exact reason for his stay and the investigation has revealed that he traveled from Dubai to Pune. Police Inspector Rajesh Tatkare of Khadak Police Station is investigating.
