7 killed in wall collapse incidents in Uttar Pradesh due to heavy rains- Dinamani
A senior official said seven people died in separate incidents of wall collapses in Uttar Pradesh in the last 24 hours following incessant rains.
In the first incident, 4 children died and 2 were injured when a wall of a house collapsed due to heavy rain in Chandrapura village in the Civil Line area.
The deceased have been identified as Singhu 10, Abhi 8, Sonu 7 and Arthi 5. Also Rishao 4 and his grandmother Chandini Debi 75 were seriously injured and admitted to the district hospital.

In the second incident, Ram Sanehi (65) and his wife Reshma Debi (62) were killed when the boundary wall of a petrol station in a cottage collapsed in Krubalpur village under Ektil police station area.
The third took place in Andava K Banglan village under Sakarnagar police station limits. Officials said Jabar Singh (35) was buried alive after the house collapsed due to heavy rain.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has condoled those who lost their lives in the incident
The Chief Minister has announced a compensation of Rs 4 lakh from the disaster relief fund to the kin of the deceased and asked the officials to provide proper treatment to the injured.
