Several questions are swirling among the fans regarding the Ramayana movie. However, we have tried to answer every imperative question related to the recent developments in the filming of Ramayana. Let’s delve into the details.

It is not the first time that the makers of the Ramayana film are facing a shooting hurdle. Previously, the film’s shooting was paused due to costume revamping. The makers reworked on costumes of the lead actors and other characters of the film and extensively worked on the look tests of the actors with revamped costumes, before commencing the production of the film at Film City of Mumbai. Reportedly, the leading actors shot the film for a few days before the film faced another shooting hurdle due to the departure of Madhu Mantena from the project. Now the film is facing a copyright infringement case, reflecting that the film’s production journey has not been smooth at all.

The departure of Madhu Mantena from Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana initially sparked rumors that the director of the film could be changed but recent reports have claimed that Madhu Mantena filed a copyright infringement case as he has not received appropriate compensation thus he requested to stop the filming of Ramayana. Furthermore, it was revealed that the shooting of Nitish Tiwari’s mythological epic saga was stopped after it ran smoothly for a few days but the shooting was halted last week because some legalities are still yet to be completed. Thus, it is expected that the shooting of Ranbir Kapoor staring in Ramayana will resume soon. The sources also have reported that the makers of the film are having a conversation with Mantena to reach a consensus on the case.

The source that also revealed that Ranbir Kapoor will portray the role of Lord Rama and Sai Pallavi will play the character of Sita in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, also confirmed that the shooting of the mythological epic is currently on hiatus. However, the source also confirmed that the production of the film has not yet been shelved by the production team. When will the shooting of Ramayana resume? As per the sources, it is expected that the makers of the film will resume shooting in three or four weeks. Another reason for the delay in Ramayana’s shooting is that the lead actors are currently running tight on their schedule as they already have other major projects lined up.

Ramayana features Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles while superstars Yash and Sunny Deol also have been roped in to portray important roles in the film. As per the sources, superstar Ranbir Kapoor is currently committed to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War which is expected to be released next year. Thus, the makers of Ramayana are also working on the filming schedules to avoid long hiatuses and gaps in the shooting of the film. Ramayana is being filmed in two parts and will be released with a minimum gap of 6 months.
